Maruti Suzuki received an impressive number of Celerio bookings in just over a month. But like other car and motorcycle manufacturers, this car manufacturer is facing a shortage of chips, which affects car production.

The brand new Maruti Suzuki Celerio was launched last month. In just over a month, Maruti Suzuki Celerio has received 15,000 bookings.

However, due to semiconductor shortages, the delivery of the new Celerio may be delayed. The waiting period for the new Celerio has now soared to 12 weeks, depending on the variant.

Recently, Maruti Suzuki increased its production capacity to 85%, which will help the manufacturer shorten the waiting period for most of its products.

The price of the new Maruti Suzuki Celerio starts at 499,000 rupees (ex-showroom) and continues to rise to rupees. 694,000 (exhibition hall).

The car uses a new chassis. The 1.0-liter three-cylinder gasoline engine has undergone a major update. The engine has two injectors for each cylinder to improve overall efficiency. The power figures are 65.7bhp and 89Nm. Transmission options include five-speed manual and five-speed AMT.

This iteration of Celerio also includes the latest features, such as pressing the start/stop button and a 7-inch multimedia system with Apple Carplay and Android Auto. Other features include keyless entry and powered ORVM.
