VOLTA has announced its latest product just in time for the release of the iPhone 14 series, which might develop charging needs that sync with those of the user's Apple Watch and AirPods. The Anchor has the same main selling point as many other similar "charging stations" that have emerged for much the same reason as of late.

Then again, its design differs slightly, with back-up and smartwatch-optimized charging pucks placed flat on its base on either side of a 'main' stalk-like charging stand, thereby possibly looking more like something one might have in their home rather than displaying an iPhone in their store.

On the other hand, the VOLTA Anchor might take up a little more space in comparison, and seems to lack the cooling features clearly deemed necessary by some other OEMs.

Its primary stand is ostensibly pitched at iPhone users, being compatible with the up-to-15W with MagSafe/7.5W otherwise output that has not changed in the new 14 series. It also supports the 10W profile that is best for Samsung smartphones.

Its secondary pad is rated for up to 5W, and may, thus, be best for certain TWS earbud cases, whereas the watch mount can deliver 3W at most. The Anchor has been priced at US$75 on its web-store, which gets the buyer the station as well as the VOLTA Mag Ring that might be required for full stand compatibility.
