Although we don’t know much about Apple’s upcoming smartphones, Mark Gurman did say that the company is looking to launch a new iPhone SE model with 5G capabilities. This smartphone is likely to be priced in the $400 price range and targeted at 5G smartphones from other companies such as Samsung and Google.
According to Bloomberg News, Apple is expected to set foot in new product categories starting next year. According to reports, Apple will launch its long-awaited AR/VR mixed reality headset next year. Gurman said that the new device will have three "killer" features:
"Games should be a focus of this machine, especially considering that it will have multiple processors, a fan, extremely high-resolution display and its own App Store. Look for Apple to position the device as a game developer's dream. The next step is media consumption. I hope that Apple will work with media partners to create content that can be viewed on the device through VR. Third, communication. Gurman also said that after failing to launch a new design on the Apple Watch Series 7, Apple is preparing to carry out a "complete transformation" of the Apple Watch. He said that in addition to Apple Watch Series 8, Apple is expected to release a new Apple Watch SE and a specific Apple Watch model with a rugged design designed for sports athletes. Gurman said that Apple Watch Sports models may have a "rugged and durable" design that can better resist scratches and dents.
Finally, Gulman also said that Apple also plans to upgrade the iPad. According to Gurman, Apple will introduce wireless charging to the iPad Pro next year.
