Fiat is developing the next-generation electric panda city incubator. Considering the latest trends, the switch to electricity is not surprising. Surprisingly, it may become a crossover SUV.

There are rumors that the company is developing a mysterious new car temporarily named Fiat 364, which will eventually be put into production in Tychy, Poland. What we do know is that this model will use BYD batteries made in China.

It can take advantage of the second-generation eCMP platform and a different design from the Centoventi concept shown in our gallery and the video here. The concept debuted on Genema IMS two years ago. According to rumours, the estimated price is close to 20,000 Euros.

Before production starts, we may not be sure whether 364 will replace Panda in its market segment. It is expected that the fuel-powered Panda will be launched in the spring of 2023, and a hybrid version will be launched a year later, so it is not clear how the rumored 364 will replace it.

The current city car has been sold for ten years and has received multiple updates throughout its life cycle. Insiders claim that another facelift will be launched in 2022. Can the new EV be sold at the same time as the gasoline car? It seems that we will only know when Fiat decides to do so.
