The U.S. configurator for the 2023 Nissan Z has just been released, a few months after the online tool first went live in Australia.

In the U.S., the new sports car is available in Z Sport, Z Performance, and Z Proto Spec guises, all of which can be ordered with either a 9-speed automatic transmission or a six-speed manual transmission.

Once you choose your perfect Z (we opted for the Z Performance with the six-speed), you’re left with the choice between six two-tone paint options alongside three solid color choices. We have gone with the $1,695 two-tone Passion Red TriCoat / Super Black configuration.

Other options available include dual racing stripes across the roof and decklid, slash guards, a clear hood protector, and exterior ground lighting.

Three interior configurations are available, consisting of graphite leather with synthetic suede, red leather with synthetic suede, and blue leather with synthetic suede. Among the interior options include premium carpeted floor mats, all-season floor mats, interior door scuff protection, dual camera driver recorder, virtual key, a USB charging cable set, interior accent lighting, illuminated kick plates, a cargo net, cargo cover, frameless rearview mirror, and some other small options.

The release of this configurator comes a few months after Nissan announced U.S. pricing for the 2023 Z.

Kicking off the range is the Z Sport that’s available from $39,990, regardless of whether it has the six-speed manual or the nine-speed automatic. Sitting above this variant is the Z Performance, priced from $49,990 regardless of the transmission. Topping out the range is the $52,990 Z Proto Spec of which just 240 examples will be produced for the U.S., many of which are currently being sold with staggering dealer markups.
