iPhone 12 follows in the footsteps of iPhone 11, provides wireless charging, and adds MagSafe charger.

The MagSafe charger can provide up to 15 watts of power to your phone. It adopts the form of a magnetic fixing system and is suitable for different accessories, including a phone case that can be stuck on the back of the phone. Apple also demonstrated a MagSafe Duo charger at the virtual iPhone 12 event in October, which can charge your Apple Watch and iPhone at the same time. Apple executives said during the event that Belkin's third-party accessories will also be available soon, including car holders and multi-function charger bases.

Another area of ​​speculation is whether the new iPhone will charge in reverse—when a mobile phone that can be charged wirelessly can also act as a charging station and be used to wirelessly charge another device. Competitors such as Samsung Galaxy S20, Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra and OnePlus 8 Pro have wireless and reverse wireless charging capabilities. But this feature is not included in iPhone 12.

However, although it was not discussed at the iPhone event, a set of FCC documents indicated that the iPhone 12 does actually have wireless power transfer capabilities-but this charging capability is currently only used for other Apple accessories, such as AirPods. Point to the future.
