To commemorate the restoration of the IPL 2021 Cricket League, Tata Motors has launched a special edition of its flagship SUV called Tata Safari Gold. The "gold" suffix is a tribute to the restoration of the league in Dubai, which is also known as the "Golden City". Safari Gold will be available in two versions-manual (Rs 2.19 lakh) and automatic (Rs 23.18 lakh, two prices, front showroom). Compared with the Safari Adventure version, its price is slightly higher than Rs 11 lakh.

Tata Safari Gold will provide two exterior colors-platinum and black gold. The "Frost White" option brings a black roof, and both versions are decorated with gold. The black-gold appearance is inspired by coffee beans with golden highlights. On the internal front, the Safari Gold dashboard has a different insert and more golden decorations.
More importantly, Tata Safari Gold is equipped with new features inside, such as ventilated white diamond-shaped quilted leather seats in the first and second rows, wireless smartphone chargers, air purifiers, and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay; The added content will also be used in standard Safari.

Tata Safari Gold has the same power system options as other Safaris: a 2.0-liter Kryotec diesel engine that can output 170 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque. Buyers can choose six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission to match.
As the festival approaches, Tata Motors is preparing to launch its smallest SUV Tata Punch in the coming weeks. Punch-Tata's second model based on its ALFA architecture-will be launched under Tata Nexon and is expected to start at Rs 500,000.
