Our list of the best phones below Rs 50,000 in December 2021 is full of popular phones, some of which are usually higher in price. Although several phones on our previous list have successfully maintained their positions, new entrants need not introduce them. So, let’s take a quick look at the five best phones you can currently buy for less than 50K.

The best phone to buy in India for less than 50,000 rupees

The smallest Apple iPhone 12 series phones can now be purchased on Flipkart for less than Rs 50,000. It is not only a 64 GB variant, but also a variant with 128 GB storage currently available in this budget. Apple iPhone 12 Mini is refreshing. Not only is the size smaller, but it also offers a suitable flagship device in this form factor and its larger counterpart does not lack any key features, which makes it unique.

Apple iPhone 12 Mini is almost iPhone 12, with a smaller case. Technically speaking, thanks to its compact Full HD+ 5.4-inch Super Retina XDR OLED screen, it has a clearer display effect in terms of pixel density. It is supported by the A14 bionic chip, which is the core of the entire iPhone 12 series. The two 12 MP cameras on the back (mainly with OIS and ultra-wide angle) provide top-notch performance in different lighting conditions and can also shoot some excellent videos. It was launched with iOS 14 and can be easily upgraded to the latest iOS 15.

Vivo X60 Pro retains its place on this list and remains one of the best-looking phones in this budget. We did consider the length and stiffness of the Vivo X70 Pro, but the X60 Pro still offers a better price/performance ratio, a faster processor and most of its features. It is supported by Qualcomm's top Snapdragon 870 SoC, and is equipped with 12 GB of large-capacity RAM and 256 GB of internal storage space. It has a vibrant 6.56-inch full HD+ HDR10+ compatible AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, which provides a flicker-free experience. It is protected by a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 6.

As we all know, the rear camera department with gimbal stabilization can capture some excellent shots and equally impressive videos. The 32 MP front camera is bound to arouse the interest of selfie lovers. Despite being slim at 7.6 mm, the Vivo X60 Pro has a 4,200 mAh battery, which can be used for more than a day in moderation. It runs Android 11 with FunTouch 11 UI.

The rear camera department is not stacked like the Pro variant, but you can also perform Hasselblad color calibration here. Photography is handled by a 48 MP main camera, a 50 MP ultra-wide-angle camera with autofocus (one of the best ultra-wide-angle cameras around), and a 2 MP monochrome camera. These cameras managed to take some impressive images with natural colors under different lighting conditions.

The 16 MP front camera located in the small hole at the top of the screen is responsible for selfies and video calls. Its 4,500 mAh battery can be used comfortably for more than a day, and what’s better is that the bundled 65 W Warp charger can quickly charge in about half an hour. This phone runs OxygenOS 11 based on Android 11.
