My car’s Android Auto system encountered a strange problem | BHP Billiton Team

I seem to have encountered a strange problem when using Android Auto. Whenever I connect my phone to the HU via Android Auto and play music, the audio will be transmitted through the car's speakers. definitely no problem. When I make or receive a call while playing music, the call audio is routed to the car’s speaker. definitely no problem. But when the call ends and the music playback resumes, the audio will be routed to the phone's speakers instead of the car's speakers. This is very irritating. I have to disconnect and connect the phone again to route the audio back to the car's speakers.

My previous Skoda Rapid OEM RCD system and my current S-Cross Blaupunkt New York 750 both have this problem. I have a Redmi Note 9 Pro running Android 11. I tried to check with my wife's OnePlus 7T, but encountered the same problem. When I connected another iPhone to CarPlay, it worked perfectly!

I did search for this issue on Google and found some posts on the Android Auto support page. Most of them have encountered this issue on Android 10, but Android 11 seems to have solved this issue. But it's not for me. Is anyone else facing this problem?

I ran into something similar, and Bluetooth music played perfectly.

Mobile phone audio cannot pass. Try to unpair and re-pair, there is no difference.

There are also some problems when the phone is connected via Android Auto.

I checked it on the Internet, no. Remove the battery for 30 minutes and then reconnect it.

Take it to the auto parts personnel near me, remove the HU and perform a hard reset by pressing the button on the rear of the HU. Everything is restored.

Try it to see if it suits you.

I have had this problem for many years and tried many solutions published online, but none of them worked. I know that Google has many requirements to support so many mobile phones and so many HUDs, but the basic software of both parties should at least solve these basic problems. Finally transferred to Apple CarPlay, none of these problems surfaced again!

What you can do is try to reset the app completely (Android Auto) and start again. See if it helps. Considering that you haven't encountered a problem before, AFAIK should be able to solve the problem.
