We have come a long way since I was a kid in the 1960s, when all I wanted for Christmas was a tight fit and some Rock'Em-Sock'Em robots. Now imagine that we have crossed into the next ten years, and it is Christmas 2031. Alexa replaces the children’s parents and Santa Claus. Each toy is connected to the Internet and looks like a robot version of the animal it represents. A clean thermonuclear Christmas tree will provide us with radiant gamma ray energy to meet all our holiday needs. Pogo rods have also made a comeback, but they are solar-powered and can span entire city blocks.
Although I am busy pretending to be the ghost of the Christmas future, I think it would be interesting to ask the CTO team office about their predictions for futuristic technical toys. So, I asked the following two questions:

Christmas wishes for 2021: Is the Tesla Cybertruck an option? I will even get a prototype. This will scratch the itch of several technologies at the same time. Think about it... electric cars, autonomous driving, artificial intelligence, possibly 5G, cloud connectivity, mobile first, and all the best applications in the fields of material science and mechanical engineering applied to trucks. What else does an outdoor technician want?
Christmas wishes in 2031: I kind of thought that although everyone else was taken aback in Metaverse (virtual reality!), I would rather go to the real mountains. But you know, I have a wife and children, so I have to think about safety. So this is my wish: a smart personal device with a full week of battery life (using ultra-thin silicon chips), fast solar charging, LEO satellite connection (used to send my friends the 3D "eat your heart" Photo) There is no 6G "wilderness", and ultra-high-definition topographic feature maps for modern navigation.

Christmas Wishes for 2021: I have always wanted to appreciate the world from a bird's eye view. Therefore, my wish is that Santa Claus will bring me a good quality drone camera this year. It’s amazing how quickly drones have evolved from commercial/military use to becoming a personal device.
Christmas wishes in 2031: In 2031, I hope Santa will give me a virtual reality (VR) trainer to help me imitate physical movement by watching analog video and sending electrical pulses to imitate it. It will open up endless possibilities. I can become a skater, a karate expert or a pianist-anything is possible. Perhaps similar research is already underway, but we are still far from this mature practical application. So, who knows-it's Santa Claus after all, we are talking about 2031!

Christmas wishes for 2021: This year, I would like to expand my recording settings from a digital 24-channel mixer to integration with my DAW (digital audio workstation) and allow me to use the control interface of my external microphone preamplifier . I have been looking for an ICON QCon Pro G2 plus a QCon EX G2 expander that allows me to directly control 16 channels at a time (I only use 16 channels for my drum kit).
Christmas Wishes 2031: Ten years later, I sincerely hope to receive an anti-gravity platform. First of all, I will get old, and climbing stairs will become more challenging for these squeaky old bones. Secondly, who doesn't want a real hoverboard? Once we know what gravity "makes", we can begin to manipulate objects on Earth more easily and make space more suitable for human physiology. Whether it's that or a puppy.

Christmas Wishes for 2021: I upgrade a part of my home during the holidays and browse the kitchen and laundry appliances online. If you tell me that I will spend three hours reading the blog to choose the right stove for me, I won't believe you. Does it have the correct power, is it reliable, is Wi-Fi enabled, can you talk to it-I'm joking about the last one. Having said that, I would love to get a Bosch benchmark gas stove. Although I cannot talk to my appliance, its minimalist appearance allows me to write it on Santa’s wish list. In exchange, I even give him some crispy dosas.
Christmas wishes in 2031: In addition to flying cars and personal robotic assistants, I would love to get better connectivity gifts. I miss my family and friends in India, it would be great to interact with them through holographic technology. I think this will allow a higher level of communication than today's "speaking head" method. Although I want my family to sit with me in my living room? Still-I think the hologram will be great.

Christmas wish for 2021: I want LG's large rollable TV. Part of the reason is that I often watch football matches. Although I have a smart TV, I still can't connect it to my Bluetooth speaker... So although I like it, I hope it can work better, and isn't the technology often like this? But more importantly, I don't like and never like that the room must be designed around the TV. Christmas wishes for 2021: Well, it seems that drones are the number one wish for 2021, and I am no exception. My wife and I just bought a house in the mountains of Blue Ridge, Georgia, where there are abundant wildlife. I want a state-of-the-art drone to monitor bears.
Christmas Wishes 2031: In ten years, I will be 71 years old. I hope to retire at least halfway and taste the fruits of my long-term scientific and technological career. Even if we look to the future, I want a time machine to relive the past. I will go back to July 16, 1969 to watch the launch of Apollo 11 from Cape Kennedy to the moon. In fact, I did this when I was nine years old. Oh, I will go back to 1966 and play my Rock'Em-Sock'Em Robots.
All in all, our peepers in the CTO's office envisioned Christmas in 2031, when we will make progress in the way we interact as a society. By 2021, we have unlimited access to information, so future technology toys may rely less on magical new technologies and more on the types of experiences that these new technologies can create. When these experiences can be shared in real time on a global scale, the world will have the opportunity to learn from each other and grow together in an unprecedented way.
