The 2022 Nissan Pathfinder will be available later this month, with prices starting at $34,560: News-Expressway

This is a full price walk for the fifth generation model

The official pricing for the 2022 Nissan Pathfinder was announced on Wednesday, and the first samples will be sold nationwide later this month. Since its debut in February, we have been praising the many changes to the new SUV, especially the new exterior styling, new on-board technology, and the switch to a 9-speed automatic transmission. We recently released an overview of the new Pathfinder, you can check it out below, but let's take a closer look at the trim walk and price changes.

Basic 2022 Nissan Pathfinder S launched the series. US$34,560 (including Nissan’s US$1,150 destination fee), an increase of US$1,485 over the previous model. We expect a good increase, and this price is still comparable to Toyota Highlander (US$36,260), Ford Explorer (US$33,920), Kia Telluride (US$33,415) and Honda Pilot (US$33,725). Than competitive.

Nissan Pathfinder S models include the standard Nissan Safety Shield 360, with automatic emergency braking, rear automatic braking, rear cross traffic warning, blind spot warning, lane departure warning and high beam assist functions. A 9.0-inch infotainment display is also standard, including Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support. Front-wheel drive is the standard fare, but if you can get all-wheel drive on the S, you will have to pay an additional $2,100.

The more popular $37,350 SV trim adds to the brand's ProPilot Assist semi-autonomous driving technology. Heated front seats and exterior mirrors are also part of the decoration. The NissanConnect service is included in SV and above, integrating remote functionality into the mobile application. The SV Premium option package adds more convenience devices at a price of US$2,170. All-wheel drive with SV, SL and Platinum trim costs an additional $1,900.

The penultimate SL trim starts at $42,640 for a front-wheel drive version. This adds Nissan's "Navi-Link" to the navigation guidance function on ProPilot Assist. You will also get a 360-degree camera system with a smart surround view monitor and wireless Apple CarPlay. The optional "SL Premium Package" can also be paid for an additional US$2,900.

Finally, the platinum FWD priced at US$47,340 completes the Nissan Pathfinder lineup in 2022, and the all-wheel drive version is priced at US$49,240. This high-end decoration adds a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, as well as a 10.8-inch head-up display and wireless charging.
