Bosch Show Car: The future way of travel is automation, interconnection, electrification and personalization. In the future, more and more vehicles will adopt electric methods. They will increasingly connect with other road users and their surroundings, and provide their occupants with personalized, cloud-based services, such as wrong-way driver alerts or road condition updates. The demonstration car will showcase Bosch system expertise and extensive software and hardware knowledge. For example, Bosch is developing a central computer for the electronic architecture of the future. These on-board computers will be used to assist and autonomous driving, control vehicle movement, and cockpit functions and body electronics. Over-the-air updates will keep the car's functions updated.

Virtual sun visor-transparent digital sun visor: The traditional sun visor can protect the car driver from dazzling light. But folding them often also blocks important areas of the driver's field of vision. Bosch solved this problem by replacing the opaque sun visor with a new transparent LCD solution. The virtual sun visor is connected to the internal surveillance camera to detect the position of the driver's eyes. Using intelligent algorithms based on artificial intelligence, the virtual sun visor will analyze this information and only darken the part of the windshield that will dazzle the driver by sunlight or other light sources. The rest is kept transparent, so that the driver's view of the road is unobstructed.

SoundSee-the smart ear of the International Space Station: Although Bosch's SoundSee is only a little larger than a lunch box, it is full of the most advanced artificial intelligence (AI). SoundSee can be found on the ISS (International Space Station). SoundSee's integrated microphone is installed on NASA's autonomous free-flying robot Astrobee, which can pick up environmental noise in space. Then, Bosch technology uses artificial intelligence to analyze audio data to detect potential anomalies and mark areas that require maintenance. As part of NASA's research partnership, SoundSee was developed with Astrobotic.

Software-defined vehicle solutions: Software is playing an increasingly important role in automotive engineering. After all, the connectivity, automation, and personalization capabilities of the future will be brought about by software more than ever before. Even now, Bosch installs more than 200 million control units running its proprietary software in vehicles around the world every year. In order to achieve this goal, the company can use deep software, electronics and systems expertise, and use this expertise to develop application-specific vehicle software and hardware to match a variety of vehicles from driver assistance and infotainment to power systems application. Bosch plans to intensively develop application-independent basic software and middleware in its wholly-owned subsidiary ETAS, as well as cloud-based software modules for wireless software updates.

Advanced drive modules-pre-integrated components for electric vehicles: In order to reduce the complexity of electric vehicle development and improve the efficiency of automakers, Bosch provides pre-integrated modules, such as ADM advanced drive modules. ADM combines the powertrain, brakes and steering system into an integrated unit that automakers can integrate into their vehicles faster and more economically. In addition, simplified interfaces and standard software architecture ensure optimal communication between components and provide a basis for new functions.

The system is constantly learning and developing. It is a hands-free, platform-independent solution that can be used with tablets, PCs and wearable devices. In addition, with the help of artificial intelligence, a knowledge base was created based on information obtained from traditional service operations. If more expertise is needed, a connection can be established between the "eyes and ears" of experts and vehicle technicians. This helps to improve accuracy and efficiency when servicing and repairing today's increasingly complex vehicles.

Nevonex-Connected Agriculture: Agriculture currently faces the challenge of ensuring food production in a changing climate. Here, Nevonex can help farmers by providing the necessary expertise in the form of digital services. Nevonex allows these third-party services to be used in all brands of agricultural machinery-for example, to automate machine settings or optimize crop planting processes. Bosch's research here is focused on using data from these processes to optimize subsequent process steps. The purpose is to use edge computing to provide farmers with powerful, artificial intelligence-based services.

Breathe fresh air-Bosch's solution to improve urban air quality: In order to improve air quality in cities, airports and railway stations, and business parks, Bosch provides innovative solutions that accurately record and simulate emissions. Bosch air quality monitors provide accurate readings of nitrogen oxides, particulate matter, humidity and temperature—in other words, they are important information for measuring local air quality. Then upload the data to the cloud and evaluate it. Knowing exactly the pollutants in the air, their location, and where they spread, you can quickly take countermeasures and always maintain better air quality.

Bosch heating and cooling solutions to create the perfect home environment: With the most advanced inverter technology, the efficient Climate 5000 3.0 tubeless micro split air source heat pump system can provide sufficient heating and cooling capacity. This kind of heat pump can heat efficiently even at cold outdoor temperatures, so it is suitable for most residential buildings. Climate 5000 3.0 has higher energy efficiency and humidity control, creating a comfortable indoor climate. In addition, its built-in air filtration system can purify the air and reduce volatile organic compounds (VOC) and other harmful gases and odors. Bosch will also launch the Inverter Pipe Split (IDS) advanced connection heat pump system on the market. This solution provides high efficiency and particularly innovative connection functions. Using a wireless internet connection and an IoT platform means that installers and homeowners can register it in the app. It also makes installation and troubleshooting easy. Through the EasyAir app, installers and homeowners can remotely access data to monitor energy consumption and equipment status.

Networked thermostat-intelligent and simple heating control: Bosch provides simple and intelligent integrated control for heating, air conditioning and ventilation systems through BCC50 and BCC100 networked thermostats. For example, users can program their own heating and cooling plans. Controls can be set directly on the thermostat by using the Bosch Connected Control app or voice commands.

But whether it is fast food or gourmet food, the smart Bosch oven can solve the problem. The voice assistant Alexa is always ready to provide advice, not only recommending the best oven settings, but also turning on the oven when needed-you just need to ask.

The recipe is inspired by the digital appearance inside the refrigerator: Don’t know what to eat? The refrigerator is always full of leftovers? This is now a thing of the past. Food can now be entered into the digital refrigerator inventory-manually, through synchronization with the Home Connect shopping list, or through the camera in the refrigerator. The Home Connect app will then know exactly what is in the refrigerator and provide recipe ideas based on available regulations. A foolproof recipe for a new way to treat taste buds and reduce food waste.

Bosch Cookit – All-round cooking talent: Cokit brings new flexibility to the kitchen. Whether it is guided cooking, automatic program or manual cooking, a multifunctional food processor with cooking function can provide everyone with appropriate support. Now it has become more flexible: the new "My Recipes" function allows Cookit to save personal recipes. Enter the recipe containing all the ingredients, quantities, temperatures, and special tips into the Home Connect app and forward it to Cookit. Then, the food processor with cooking function will guide the user through the preparation steps as often as necessary.

Spexor – Protect what you love: This mobile security assistant is a smart all-in-one device that provides continuous, ubiquitous protection. It can detect intrusive and harmful gases, measure indoor air quality, and issue alarms when the temperature is too high or too cold. If spexor's integrated sensor detects an abnormality in the monitored environment, it will send a notification directly to the user's smartphone. Multi-sensor devices are wireless and can be used anywhere with at least a cellular connection.

It is suitable for a range of applications, such as sending warnings when food expires or early detection of forest fires. Through cooperation with Dryad Networks, the BME688 sensor combined with the Internet of Things network can detect forest fires early. Fewer forest fires means a significant reduction in carbon dioxide emissions. In this way, Bosch is helping to alleviate global warming.

BHI260AP-Innovative fitness tracking: squats, sit-ups, kettlebell training: the list of fitness exercises is almost endless. However, many fitness trackers and smart watches can only track a limited number of activities, and the diversity of device types and users' different exercise patterns, physiques, and fitness levels mean that they cannot always reliably identify ongoing exercise. To solve this problem, Bosch Sensortec has developed BHI260AP-a novel, self-learning motion sensor that can provide artificial intelligence for wearable devices and ear-worn devices. The sensor automatically recognizes and responds to many different actions, and can learn any new fitness activity based on a routine that repeats regularly.

BMP384-Waterproof, chemical and dustproof: Wearable devices, household appliances and industrial applications often have to deal with harsh conditions. However, so far, many barometric sensors are not very robust or fluid resistant, so they cannot always be installed in waterproof products. With Bosch Sensortec's BMP384, the situation is different. This air pressure sensor is both compact and robust. At CES, Bosch Sensortec also introduced a new ultra-precision pressure sensor, which can also be used for indoor navigation and positioning.

Single source-video analysis application store: the world's first open video analysis application store, allowing surveillance cameras to be flexibly equipped with new artificial intelligence auxiliary functions. It only takes a few minutes to install an application for detecting objects such as masks, smoke, fires and floods or for assessing traffic flow and visitor flow on compatible cameras. More than 100 applications developed by Azena, a subsidiary of Bosch, are already available for more than 40 use cases-new applications are added every month.

Smart cameras to improve road safety: With the help of new deep learning video analysis software, the new Inteox cameras with object classification function can be used in traffic monitoring and other fields. Even in heavy traffic, they can recognize the precise details of the vehicle more quickly. AI helps detect unforeseen, undesirable, or future conditions faster, more intuitively, and more reliably.
